A. Account & Profile Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (email/password).

B. Family Memories & Digital Media: Photographs, videos, voice recordings, event details, descriptions, and family member relationships added to your family archive.

C. Celebration Guest Contributions: When wedding or event guests scan your event QR code, we collect their display name and submitted media files. Guests do not need to create accounts.

D. Billing & Payment Data: When upgrading a family plan or purchasing a celebration pass, payment processing is handled directly by authorized payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay). We never collect or store your raw debit/credit card numbers, CVVs, or banking passwords.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and maintain your private family memory vault and digital archive.
To organize your celebration events, albums, and ancestral family trees.
To transcribe and generate AI-assisted oral story biographies upon your explicit request.
To send essential transactional notifications (such as verification emails and payment receipts).
To protect against unauthorized account access and platform abuse.

4. Security & Data Protection

All data transmitted to and from Yaadon Ka Ghar is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols. Media and memories are stored on secure infrastructure with strict database multi-tenant isolation and Row Level Security (RLS), ensuring that your family archive is accessible exclusively by you and the members you authorize.

5. Third-Party Infrastructure Processors

We partner with trusted infrastructure and payment providers solely to deliver our digital family memory platform:

Database & Media Infrastructure: Supabase (PostgreSQL with RLS and secure object storage).
Payment Processing: Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant payment aggregator for UPI, Cards, and Net Banking).
Authentication: Secure Supabase Auth.
Transactional Communications: Secure email delivery services.

We never sell, rent, or trade your family photographs, videos, or memories to third parties for advertising or profiling.

6. Your Data Rights & Control

Export Your Memories: You can download and export all your family photos and memories in a complete ZIP archive from your Settings at any time.
Delete Media or Account: You can delete individual memories, events, or request complete account closure, which permanently removes your data from our active systems.
